Planning for Schools – ten schools for the price of none! Simon Gilbert, Cardiff Council
This presentation will look at Cardiff’s approved ambitious plans to deliver in excess of 40,000 new homes by 2026. Huge areas for expansion have been planned with schools delivery at the heart of new urban neighbourhoods. The Master Planning Principle is embedded in delivery of new growth; 10 new schools can be delivered and funded by developers at no cost to the taxpayer; and collaborative working across professions is essential to securing delivery.
