Group Creative Director
The newly appointed Group Creative Director is a brand experience designer with 26 years in the industry, creating award-winning experiences for global brands such as Adidas, Virgin, Barclays and Diageo.
For the last 12 months, however, he has been researching and defining what lessons from the world of brand, retail and experience design could help the education sector create a new integrated approach in the design of environments for students and staff.
Integrated experience design (Communications, Environment, digital and brand) has created a significant leap forward in the abilities of “Interior design” to engage, communicate, support, inspire and entertain customers pre, during and post visit.
“I’ve always been fascinated with how technology can expand what space can do, the potential it has for enhancing the physical visitor experience and making it the best it can be.”
A sought after speaker, David has spoken at several industry forums, including the World Retail Congress, The Russian Retail Conference, INSEAD and L:SN Global. He co-authored ‘Re-Imagine Retail: Why Store Innovation is Key to a Brand’s Growth in the New Normal, Digitally Connected and Transparent World’ a peer-reviewed paper published in the Journal of Brand Strategy.
