Biography

Architect and Passive House Consultant, Padraig is a sustainability leader at IBI, guiding projects to reach Net Zero and deliver significant greenhouse gas emission reductions, through innovative and cost-effective measures.

He is currently consulting on IBI’s portfolio of large Passive House buildings which is on track to deliver over 1 Million sf of passive house area including 1075 Nelson, in Vancouver, the world’s tallest Passive House at 60 stories.

Padraig’s knowledge of high-performance buildings is combined with knowledge of whole life carbon analysis studies, accounting for embodied carbon to achieve for true whole life carbon neutral buildings. Working in the UK and North America, lessons learnt from both continents are being applied and shared to broaden IBI’s approach to Net Zero architecture.
