Our regional Welsh studio in Cardiff has been established for over 10 years and is run by Board Director Neil MacOmish and Director Jon James. The studio is part of our wider network including our head office in London, studios in Edinburgh and Guildford and internationally in New York, Singapore and Amsterdam.

Our Education team create and deliver inspiring learning environments, from primary and secondary schools to further and higher education establishments. We believe that good design is not about imposing a solution, but working together to develop the right one. By listening, developing the brief and exploring options with stakeholders at all levels from the governing body to senior management, faculty and students we design buildings that make a real make a real difference and push boundaries.

We are currently working for the Welsh Assembly Government as part of the technical advisory team with Gleeds and Cundall on the Mutual Investment Model (MIM) which represents the largest strategic investment in Welsh educational infrastructure since the 1960’s.  In addition our design for the new Brecon High School in Brecon Beacons National Park is under construction and completes in Summer 2019.

We make the creative journey an enjoyable one for all.

Three Rivers School Case Study
Our case study film for Three Rivers School features interviews with the Head, the staff and students and the lead architects responsible for its design and delivery. The school was one of only ten schools across the globe and the only UK school to be nominated for an award at last year’s World Architecture Festival (WAF). In addition the school made the shortlist for the Best Pupil/Student Experience at the Education Estates Awards and most recently was shortlisted for the Design through Innovation and Community Benefits categories at the RICS Award.
